Wasnt me that caught them, but right now thats what the fishing is like, flooded fields of grass between where the bank normally is and where its at right now.
One can catch 50 bluegill an hr ,some will weigh up to a pd.
Bear in mind that Ky has a 20 fish limit on them.10 in min on crappie ky or tn,15 on white bass with only 5 over 15 in,5 of bass 15 in,its not uncommon for someone to limit of three or four species in one trip, this time of year.
Just think Zooker is here now, just about where those were caught at,bet he will have a report when he gets back.

Nightmare its a 1 ft per sec sink rate, until density of the water slows it down at about 3.3 meters before that happens it blows.

i have never seen so many poeple targeting brim in my life.. i easily saw 70 boats doing nothing but brim fishing.. i did however catch a personal best spotted bass 4.25 pounds on a jig...
thanks to mule's advice the fishing was great..i caught about 50 bass on two days and 25 on the third day..alot were dinks but several 4-5 pound bass were caught..btw mule i went thru 3 packs of zoom mossy pumkin lizards..and 2 packs of mossy pumkin baby bush hogs..
they were pullin the water hard since thrusday it dropped around three feet..
but still it looks like this...
every floating dock -this happened to be dock next to a launch ramp..

Thats a good spot my best last year was a lil 2 1/2 lbs,but did get to weigh it in,along with a 2 1/4 same day both spots, water had started to clear, but its different in different areas barkley had 1 ft vis, coves here 2 ft and main lake about 3 ft.Strong current about 4-5 mph.
And paris landing was shoulder to shoulder with those brim fisherpersons.
Some weigh a pd ea.
Glad you enjoyed it.
ps during the summer doldrums when the wind dies down 5-6 ft vis on main lake easily.
And at the same time you took that serene pic,I was trying to stay off the abuttments at the 69 bridge had trolling motor on high and water coming over the deck, bilge pump went out couldnt even get on plane.
Different areas of the lake dont even look alike,or act alike.Stripers and bass were cooperative on magnum poprs, even in that surf.

Actually theres quite a few of them (drum)they hit rattletraps a lot, stripers in main lake can run just as heavy.
And they occasionally hit a buzzbait.,or dd22 when fishing the drops, main difference between here and kerr other than drum is the lack of grass pickeral or jacks.
On ky lake website it says fish here can break your arm, never had it broke but shure can get sore.
On topwater they hit so hard, the sound alone is deafening.
Sauger ,white bass and yellow bass ,brim, shellcrackers, abound, catfish of at least three species with an occasional musky.
Next time come farther south when the grass is topped, frog heaven.
Glad you had a nice time.
