I know the feeling, me & my buddy was running 66 gps in my boat last week when a 20' Gambler with a 225 Etec went smoking by me like I was sitting still ... & what a beautiful ride it was too.

Doubt it was a 300 4-Stroke....they only make them in 25,30 & 35 in shafts "Salt-water" models.
It was probably a 300 Vmax HPDI Series 2 (still a 2-Stroke)....which STILL will blow your doors off LOL

Darth, I seen an Allison on Craigslist today. I have to admit that is one fine ride. Looks like a racing boat for sure. I guess one of the main things that caught my eye was the Red color. But she sure was sharp.

It sounded like a 4 stroke, he was at the lake again this weekend and I walked over to him at the ramp and it was a 2 stroke. His buddy had a stroker with a 300 which I think was prob. the fastest boat on the water that day.

A 19' Stroker??? Stroker only makes 1 boat, and its always been a 21' boat.

Hmm I always thought it was a 19, cuz when I fished out of it, I didn't think there was all that much deck room on the front or back
This is his boat.

Yep...she is a 21' boat bro ;)
Now, how they measure their length I am not sure. The older model Allison's used overall length. My XB2002 is 20'2" long (overall). However, its centerline length is 18'10" Stroker may do the same (?)
This is a 1985-1990 Allison Brochure:
