I checked the fishing reports on Bay Springs, and on Pickwick today. The bass are super turned on at Bay Springs. And Pickwick had a tx down there last weekend, and it took 27 lbs to take it. Said their hitting everything from topwaters,(buzzers), to cranks. And grabbing jig and pig combos in the 8 to 10 ft water. Decisions, Decisions. I think I will try Pickwick first so I can try the smallmouth. If we don't do any good there, we'll pick up and go to bay springs. OK, my plan is set in motion. Anybody else planning for the weekend.

Fishing a Good Old Catholic Athletic Association Bass Tournament at the LOZ Saturday. Hope the God the weather is better than last year, ran about a mile up the lake had half inch of sleet on the deck of the boat, cold as hell and caught NOTHING!!!!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad:
