This site will allow RESIDENTS and NONRESIDENTS to purchase hunting & fishing licenses, enter harvest registration,
and renew vehicles & boats.
PLEASE NOTE: (For residents only)
A Minnesota resident who does not have a current resident customer record on file will not be able to use this online sales system until a resident record has been created. Please visit any license agent location (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/agents.html) with the required documentation or contact the DNR (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/contact/index.html) to create a customer record.
If you have purchased a license within the last ten years using your Minnesota Driver's License or Minnesota State ID or have purchased a license and are under the age of 21, you will have a DNR customer record on file.
In order to qualify as a resident, an individual must have maintained a legal residence in the state for at least 60 days prior to applying for or purchasing a license. Anyone 21 years of age or older, must possess a current Minnesota Driver's License or a valid Minnesota Public Safety ID.
Any license purchase requiring special documentation (i.e. social security disability, nonresident students) must visit a license agent or the DNR to purchase the license.
