Anybody know anything about these boats. Are they good boats? Who makes them? etc., etc.

Brother's looking at one, and I told him to give me time to find out about it.

Kinda small family operation around Shreveport La..Moore family...good warranty (close knit)...I hear...
Guy around central Ga bought 2 back to back 20 yr old....kinda sponsored on the second one(price break)...I personally havent looked into the quality of them close..

One thing i kinda dont like are the cosmetics (pins) are somewhat Rangerish
Rangers,Tritons,Nitros etc look like they should.....dont even try it..be original

Years ago I had a life long friend who was a ProGator salesman. I bought his one year old 16'-9" demo, with a 100 Mariner in 1992. I fished out of it almost every weekend for 12 years, then gave it to my sister's husband. He has used it regularly since then, and I still get to fish out of it a couple of times a year. The boat was always fast, stable and a great little platform to fish from. It turned on a dime at high speed and was a very dry ride. Although it was a small boat, the design was really nice for bass fishing, especially on Caddo Lake, where I spent most of my time. Getting up into the cypress trees to flip a big worm was a piece of cake, and I could always count on the 'Gator to get me home when a sudden summer thunderstorm blew in.
All that being said ... I haven't been in a ProGator built in the last 20 years! Based on my old one, though, I'd give 'em two thumbs up.

Thanks fellows. I haven't been on here much lately. He ended up going with a Dyna-Track. It has the center console. Very nice rig.
