hey great map thanks for the reports. west coast florida angler here what can you tell me about pecock fishing. fished the 75 turnaround ramp 2 months ago water was low lots of fish but I here pecocks are there our club no one cought any. thanks

I live in Coral Springs which is west of Ft. Lauderdale and haven't caught any peacocks in the last two years since we had that big cold spell a few years ago. There were hundreds floating in the lake behind my house after that hit.

I haven't caught any in the Evergaldes either in the past two years but I have heard that they are still catching them in the airport lakes in Miami and in the canals in Miami. I have heard some of these lakes and canals get fed differently so the water never cooled down as much down there during the cold spell.

I haven't seen a Peacock Bass in a long time. They were never supposed to get north of Miami when they were introduced anyway. Probably in a few years we will see them again. However, if you want to catch Snakeheads....
