Anyone know what year these motors were made? I was thinking around 1990? This boat is within an hour of the house. Might be a cheap boat if its in great shape.
He did not put as much info as he should have used on this one.

The GT 150 and 175 Johnsons (XP Series for Evinrude) were produced until production ended in 1991. They were replaced by the 60 degree "Eagle" (Intruder/Spitfire/Silverstar) 150 and 175's.

Those old Crossflow 175GTs were some strong running motors. Pretty dang fast.....but they drank the fuel when compared to later model motors of the same HP. I have always been an old Crossflow guy ;)
