Well after the 250xs stoked to a 300, it hits 96mph, With a 4 blade 26' turbo OT4 prop.

3 blade will get it to 100mph, but I don't like the shakey ride LOL

Thanks everyone. i like the gambler boats for sure, a bit wider than a bullet, and Rangers, and nitro's and the like only see the back of the motor. LOL no offence intended.

Please post more of your set-up. I can't see your pics for some reason. What lower? was it worked or stock, gear ratio, RPMS etc. Do you have Simon mods on your motors? Hydro-Tec?

That is the fastest G-boat I have ever heard of and I am sure more Gambler/Sterling owners would love to be able to optimize their set-ups.

Stock 250 xs with 1.75 gear ratio. normally with a 3 blade prop, you get more speed, but I have a friend who is a prop master, he did a 4 blade prop for me that gets me in the 85-90 mph range and keeps the handling. I will post new pics as soon as I finish resetting the motor. I ordered a hydraulic jack plate, and have the motor off of the boat.

Very nice. Although, I'm glad I wasn't in it when you hit the 96.

Hey all,
I have just 1 question: What did you use to replace that little piece of vinyl that had to have been pinched off by your butthole when you hit 96 mph??
:p:D

Take care and GOD bless
