this is what i can get for my son,is there any reason yall can see i shouldnt.
I went and checked it out again the motor has 32 hrs and its a 200hp johnson venom, it was resleeved with larger bore sleeves .40 over and the cylinders were decked .10 under with a heavier head gasket and polished matched combustion heads. It was ported and polished and cases matched, with a reground and fitted crank, all specs were held by ,.001 on crank and pistons. it dyno'd at 242 hp with the current bottom end but also comes with a custom bottom end and 2 of the best props available. what have i got as far as the yr the engine was made and can i tell by the engine numbers.I promised not to tell who built it his employer would not approve but this is from the receipt.its attached to a 20' stratos 07 model 201 xlpro dc, jackplate and hotfoot. It looks like its never been in the water and for 4 yrs the hull has been stored under cover in a heated garage. I think its worth 9,000.00 any comment answers or opinions?

For the boat and motor?

242 HP measured at the crank is roughly equivilent to 215-220 hp at the propshaft. Sounds like a very strong 200 (Like a 200HO)

Its tough to determine a fair price since the motor is much older than the boat. I haven't checked, but I would think 9K would be a good price for the boat alone.
