I went fishing today with a freind,He has a 2008 or '07 ProCraft 20 foot with a Mercury 200 HP OptiMax.Although it is not an "A" boat I must say I was very impressed with the ride, handleing, comfort, storage and comfort in fishing. It was loaded with features. I would say anyone owning one has a very enjoyable rig that seems like it could give many happy days on the water.

My first "performance" boat was a ProCraft SuperPro 190 with a 175 Merc EFI and a Bob's Machine Shop 10" hydraulic jackplate.
That boat would run into the mid-70's and was a fairly decent fishing platform.
I think ProCrafts are very under-rated boats, especially when you consider their price.

Didnt the early ones a have a bent front pole seat so one wouldnt fall off that wee front deck, watched every chance I got to see if Bill Dance would fall off.
You are however correct underrated, and runs better than most think.

The "bent pole" front seat was an aftermarket seat post installed by Bill as a personal preference. Bill likes to fish while seated and as you probably know about me now, I can't fish unless I'm standing!

With my double pole stack am almost standing while at same time taking some weight off my bad knees, maybe march with three footers will change your mind Ive done it but one grabs the trollling motor every now an then to keep inside the boat.
About every second or third waves comes over the front, then again I run bent nose boats, but this newest is a good 21/2ft off the water. With a 22 in transom they can come over the back,if aimed incorrectly. And I might add with them coming from three directions at once cant always aim it just right.
When I first got the jaguar had no seats, added them later.Mostly for something to hang onto, and somewhat to rest every now an then.
As I get older the resting part becomes more and more needfull.

I agree with you there! I used to not have any seat on the front deck. Now, I have added a leaning post. It helps a lot.

I test the amount of room by laying down in the rod locker,my 15 skeeter had a nice one ,along with the ranger(no bigger) and now my Jaguar.
Also in the test is how much room under the console can one get under there in a storm.
And yes have spent some time under there, and in the rod locker great place to take a nap if arriving at the ramp early.
Pays to be a lil feller sometimes, example getting behind the wheel of my Jaguar, curved console about 11 in clearance, bigger buds can but from behind the seat straight into it,then they best not have a pot belly.
Its built like a jap zero fighter for someone 5 ft 5 or less and weighing 125 to 150lbs.

I am 6'2" and weigh 275 lbs and I can fit nicely behind the console of my Sprint 286 Pro tournament. It's one of the reasons I bought this boat. I tried a very nice skeeter and a Ranger and there was just not enough room for me. Wish Sprint was still making boats. Mine is fast too with a mariner 150 on it.

I owned a 210 super pro myself for 6 years and it never had a problem. Low 70's, lots of storage. Traded for a Skeeter 21 I Class that has never had 2 working livewells since I have owned in 3 years, various other issues that I am getting worked out this week.
My next ride will be a Phoenix 721 XP

funny you should say that my buds iclass has livewell pump problems too. I've had to replace 3 of the 4 already on it. but aside from that its a real nice platform for fishing.

Didnt they have a problem a few years ago, about the top half of the glass boat coming apart when some guy died hitting a cable wire running across the inlet...If I remember correctly , this was somewhere down in the bayou's of Louisaina...
I may be wrong, i will research this later...
