Ive found some weird viny grass near an island never had any luck on it myself had froged the heck out of it yet saw anothr who fished gitzits catch keepers out of it.
At any rate frogs again no go,but steve hubers secret weapon spinnerbait had them swatting it yet no actual takers,so in went my Hart buzzbait bleeding red shiner, and in about 1 mile of such grass,in places like this.

I caught about 1/2 doz small some short some squeekers like this .

No not schoolers as they are chunkier for lack of a better word whom Steve coined they are Tenn racing bass, scrawny lil things no real meat on them.
But fun none the less.

At least I post pics of fish even if hungry scrawny lil critters
ky lake is chock full of those 14 1/2 and 14 3/4 fish as a 15 in length limit, and a year ago would have given my eye teeth for a sackfull of them back in ohio
They would win most ohio river t or even those aba lake T
Here most of them are just short, several of those 1/2 doz would have made it and counted just not counted for much at least not here

Well, I had to get away from the house, so I went out for a couple hours this afternoon. There's a storm front moving in and I tore the bass up. Unfortunately, the fish were either short and chunky or Tennessee Racing Bass!
But, what they lacked in size, they more than made up in numbers. I caught six bass in six casts!
It was "interesting" holding the boat in the wind. Occasionally I'd take some water over the bow on a particularly large roller! I'll bet some of the time I was pitching five feet rising over one wave and dropping into a trough!
But it was fun.

Nope, I've only got a 75 lb. thrust trolling motor, but it's got a Kipawa high thrust prop, that makes all the difference. :)
I did just about pitch out of the boat a couple times when I had a fish on and forgot about running the trolling motor. The boat went sideway and really started rocking and rolling! I felt like I was :drunk:

Thanks seems that not only with boat propellers its the same with trolling motor props the more blades the merrier.

Aren't those props are for MK's only?

When one goes to the web site read the testimonials, while mfg statements references state MK,MG one crossreferences with hub diameter.

Hub diameter on MG is 31/2" do you think the 35/8 would work?

The only thing you can do is contact them and ask. I wouldn't think that an extra 1/8th inch would make a difference, but who knows?

And, I forgot to mention that my trolling motor is a MotorGuide Beast 775, a 24/36 volt, 75 lb. thrust motor. I run it as a 36 volt system.

Here is the response I got from Kippewa asking about props for MG.
Hello,
Thank you for your interest, I'm sorry to say we do not have a propeller for MotorGuide Motors at this time.

I know for a fact they have several that fit MG most of my club uses them
call them and ask for Dave. MG use a pin type not the D shaft and they make one or 2 that fit that also.
warning tho don't believe the hype. no diff in weeds, draw 1/2 amp more and minimal increase in speed. AND EXPENSIVE around 45.00

The reason why you can no longer get a Kipawa prop for a MotorGuide is that MotorGuide bought the sales/marketing rights and relabeled it as the Hydrilla Hacker.
As far as an increase in performance, that's for you to decide. But I like mine, it chews through weeds and holds me in the current better than the standard prop that came on the motor.

I was just curious. I recently got a new MG Safari prop which is insane. I've mown lanes in the grass and come back through with a crankbait. It claims to give more battery life but I haven't noticed I have a 36v system and can fish 2-3 days on a charge.

I thought that prop looked familiar.:wallbash::wallbash: A buddy of mine has one on his motor guide and it does do good in the thick stuff
