after hurting my back last week, i'm hoping to be back out on the water on wednesday. hopefully i'll have a good report. going to rodman where the hydrilla is getting out of control. can't wait till next winter for the drawdown.

well, thanks to this storm system, didn't make it out yesterday. hopefully on saturday.i'll probably have to deal with all the weekend warriors. still better than staying home.

after two weeks i finally made it back out.my job allows me to fish during the week so i usually don't go out on the weekends, but i was getting stir crazy. of course there was a club tournament going on and weekend anglers out. the water was around mid to high 80's and the wind was about 5-10mph. started the morning off with a buzz frog around scattered hydrilla patches and stumps.caught 3 around 1-2lbs. then headed out to the river channel with a few soft plastics. only managed 1 that was probably close to 3lbs on a power worm. i wanted to find some mats and go flipping, but by about 1:30 my back was really starting to hurt so i headed in.still beats sitting at home.
