If i am already pushing the RPM limit during the warm months, will the RPM's increase as the weather cools? My theory is that cooler weather makes more horsepower.

Yup.... cooler air=denser charge=mo' power. Additionally the cooler air is typically drier as well which contributes to hp gains.

You might want to go up 1 pitch for the cooler air, some people have a winter and summer prop just for this reason...

one question and this is gonna sound stupid but wouldn't it make sense that if
you were hitting the limit in colder air the cheaper fix would be to lift your foot
off the peddle a bit so ya ain't hittin it.

Im always wot as run props several pitches larger, a 28 chopper and a 4 blade 27p,never overrev, but run high enuff rpm motor isnt lugging around 6 k on a 27 p shooter(tro gets less rpm)
200 xp and its either the boat change and or the props as get a lot better mileage running a 27 or 28 p on the 22 ft jaguar as I did the same motor on a 21 ft glassport with 24 and 25 p.
Ive bought 24 gal of gas since Steve came here in the first of july, look how many posts or trips ive made, still have just under 1/4 tank.
Used to take a lil over a 1/4 just to go 12 miles up and back ,smaller gas tank but 36 gal one this jag has a 50.Thats about 2.2 -2.4mpg on the glassport and around 4 with the jag

I aint sayin thats whut I would do but if he's having a limiter prob either buy a new prop or don't hit it. Its winter months anyway and going flatout in 30 deg temp is best left for the younger folk.

Carharts, long johns, face helmet with shield ,gloves thermos of hot coffee and a nice warm truck when you come in are all real handy, seldom do much over sixty, seldom do in summer as just does run above at 62-63.Water is rather chilly spray isnt a good thing, and the lake is rather tall, but this boat runs it nicely bewteen 52 and 60,takes 52 to top them out, running 43 to 47 will get one wet,and have a bumpy ride.
Ps I always wear the rain suit on the outside just in case

we know how to dress for cold up here in NY but to me when the water is close to turning hard its time to find somethin else to do.
birthrate is high in sept/oct up here so I guess some folks find somethin to do. :)

I went to upstate NY one time for my son's national kayak competiton on Mirror Lake. I know, now, what y'all do up there in the winter!

1.) Make babbies
2.) chop fire wood
3.) whittle wood that ain't fit for burning(and there's a whole lot of that whittlin' takes place up there!)

Well Charlie when you consider the Bullet line of boats almost faultless one can only comment on the faults they see. Not a bad thing at all if that's all we can find to mess with ya' on! 'Least they don't fall a part!
