Laser Bass Boat Info

Was just wondering if any of you actually knew who started building Laser Bass Boats. they have a VERY interesting history. Mr. Summerford himself.....who now builds STV is the original and by the way will still build you one of Laser Bass Boats. He played with several designs and came out with some very fast hulls in there day.

A good friend of mine had a 21 ft laser bass boat. Not sure about the year I think early ninety's. She had a 150 Merc. Black Max built with all the goodies. That thing would freakin fly. It was nicknamed "The Sloberslinger". Sold the boat years ago to someone, unfortunatly it caught fire in his basement with a problem with the battery chargers. Like normal he wishes he had never sold it. And would like to find one just like it.

Summerford hasn't built STV's for a while. He sold the molds to Jack Barsh (Full throttle powerboats). Not sure what ended up with the Triad boats
