Here is the only specs I can find.........by the way...SAME Laser I own cept the color

Shot in Upstate New York in 1983. 16' Laser (pre-STV), 200 hp Evinrude, Jack Plate, nose cone, foot throttle, 31" Cleaver. 84 RADAR mph (pre-GPS).

Worked for a Laser dealer in NJ part-time. Owned two of em, a 84 fish n ski and a 86 19' bass DC. Both had Kevlar hulls and were fast. With a Yamaha 150 ProV we clocked the 19 footer at 75MPH. Before I bought the 19', I took a ride in the tunnel hull bass on a windy day, extremly fast but scarey!

Lasers are fast as a light boat and a good hull,I think the old tunnel hull bass boats had a slight handling problem (not just lasers)they tend to dig in with the left sponson on a turn.
And on a windy day a ride in my lil allison scares me often.Then again Im easy.
