did anyone notice the plastic box storage in the front part of the consoles, that is very unique, I think I like that idea!

They might as well - the top of the consoles are so long and barely sloping, they might as well be part of the deck. What I don't like about it is the support strut runnin' up the the center of the opening....not much engineering gone into that.:confused:

It is a cool boat no doubt. I was hoping though that they would have tweaked the shape of the consoles some. That square shape is SO early 1990's. I can fully appreciate "product recognition" and all but...It is time for an update GAMBLER/STERLING

I saw the prototype last year when I picked up my 2200. The hull is a total redesign and supposedly no more porpoising, back wash and getting drenched in the chop. They made some great storage changes too. They were suppose to come out with a center console and a single. I prefer a single console for the added room and that is the main reason I sold mine.
