I would like to put a temp gauge in but not sure where to start.
Anyone out there done this that can give me some pointers?
It is a '96 Force 75hp by Mercury. I think it is a Force head with a Mercury
lower.

I'm not sure why you want to spend the bucks on a temp gauge for that motor
but there are kits available. More importantly is a water pressure gauge. Thats a must
have. The temp gauge kits come with a gauge and a sender that bolts to the head
or you can get crazy and put pyrometers in but that motor should be fine just using a pressure gauge.

Agree psi gauge, more use full as long as psi is up no reason for it to get hot,if its not up then most likly the water pump is the culprit and its easier to fix, prior to it harming the motor.
Cheaper also.

I run temp, pressure and dual pyrometer... wouldn't leave home without 'em..

I have a pressure gauge already. But I am a gadget nut and I have an opening on my dash so I figured 'why not?'.
