George Perry also has that largemouth beat, and it was inside its normal range ,and not trout fed.
You eventually will likly beat his all due to the aforementioned.

perry's record was already broken by 3 lbs in lake Dixon CA, but was caught with the hook not in the mouth and had to be released in CA. (Ca law says it must be caught with the hook in the mouth) that fish has since been found floating and was identified by a black mark under it's gill. the fellow that caught it was called in to identify it. I believe it was 25.01 lbs when caught. the guy caught it once before but it only weight 21 and change

That was an insane fish I was there when it was caught at 21+ lbs it was a pig then but since it didn't make it into the record books george perry's record stands. My hat was off to Mac since not too many people would've been so forthright with a million dollar fish in their hands. Steve Kennedy was another imagine throwing back 8-10 lber's cause they were foul hooked in a 100k tournament, and than win anyhow!
