Noise maker for safety

Some states its a requirement to have a noise making device on board...

I have a few whistles.....but the old air horn is my fav....
Allways had one on all my boats..
you can hear um over just bout any motor a good ways...
it could change some ones direction at night ....good all around

Oh yeah, back to the thread. I have a horn, a air horn, and a whistle.

I use the horn on the boat, a whistle, 45 ACP and a pocket sized air horn to get attention.....

Very loud horn,whistle,and for several years after having fished with a deaf person,learned noise isnt all its supposed to be they have to be able to hear.For that and visual signals(ohio requires them)an orange flag hunter orange and a legal replacement for that 45 acp is a 12 ga flare pistol.
Most of our state parks(ramps) here in tn prohibit the carrying of firemarms within.
Law enforcement excluded but permit carriers are not always.
The penalty for carrying one in those or even a place where acholol is served is 11 months 29 days and about 11 hrs.
