So last week I was out with my dogs in the back on the dock and they are barking at something in the water. It was an old tire that had floated up and was trapped under my dock. I thought I would take it out but was on my lunch hour from work and didn't want to get dirty. So I tried to pull it up anyway and these nasty gas bubbles came out and lots of oil and pieces of fat and meat surfaced and then all the bream and turtles took off in the opposite direction. Just then the funk hit me and made me gag. There was plastic bag of something big stuffed inside of the sidewall and it smelled horribly of a dead body of something. Even my dogs ran away. Being south Florida, I expected the worst but my mind was saying, it's a dead cat or dog or a fetus maybe and I should call the cops. Then it started raining and the wind was blowing west so I thought I'd just get my pool pole and push it away. It worked for a week. Today, it came back to my dock in a storm that blew from the west. The smell is so bad I can't go outside. Luckily, another storm came tonight from the east and it blew back to the other side. The decaying gas is keeping it afloat and I'm not looking to find out what it is but it's definitely not normal and I don't want it to sink on my bank. I can see it now in the middle of my lake going the other way. Yea baby!
