took my wife out fishing this morning trying to put her on some sand bass (they moved from where they had been schooling for three weeks now). the trip was a disaster overall but as we were putting in this morning the guys ahead of us were launching a new skeeter fx boat. this thing was gorgeous and i complimented the owner on it and we struck up a typical ramp conversation. he was new to fishing after having to switch hobbies for health reasons and his wofe liked the colors of this particular boat. i mentioned that i had seen one at the classic this past spring and had my pic taken by one with the same color scheme. as it turns out his is the same boat that was at the classic expo in tulsa ok. sometimes its a very small world. also got a treat as a guy from tx was up fishing in a late model allison. only the second allison i have ever run into on the water in okla ( the other being our very own Darth Vmax). he was running side by side with a ranger and i commented to Jennifer he must really be holding it back lol
