Finally got it done. Used 3m 5200 fast cure without screws. Haven't had it in the water yet.

I think I'm leaning towards using mounting board horizontal along bottom u per hull. No screws but attach with 3m 5200 sealant. Was debating on using marine jb weld though. Any thoughts?

Why add a tax on exports? Don't you mean imports? If we tax exports products become to expensive to compete ( sell overseas). Then exports would stop which equals less manufacturing and less jobs. Now taxing imports would make foreign products not as easy to under cut prices of u.s made...

Hi guys I just bought a garmin 73sv and am not sure where is the best place to mount the transducer. I have a 1998 stratos 201 xl. was hoping for some tips on placement. Would be awesome if anyone has pics of same boat. Also I don't have a jack plate and was thinking of buying a mounting board.

4 stroke all the way but I'd want the yamaha, lighter engine. Actually if you're looking at the 4 cylinder instead of the 6 it might not be.

I could see it working on a carb engine but with fuel injection the computer is programed to work at a certain octane. It might be a good idea if you could reprogram the computer like people do on cars called tuner kits.
