    Jack Plates

On your boat I'm not sure if it would help or hurt. On my boat it is suppose to help but I haven't done it yet. All you got to do is order some 2" spacers as install them.

    New Marine Batteries

I don't know the price difference or weight difference but I have group 29 batteries in my boat. I run a fortrexx 101 and have never had any problems and I fish tidal water a lot. The 29 serves its purpose on the cranking side of things as well with a 998 and 958 running all the time plus...

    2013 nitro z7

I have a friend who has a Z7 with a 200 pro xs on it with hydraulic jackplate. It is like a sports car and will haul butt. The rough water ride and storage left a lot to be desired. But overall I think nitro has come a long way and offers a great value.

    Trokar hooks

You can't go wrong with trokar, gamakatsu, or owner. The trokar flippin hook is literally a pig sticker, and by pig I mean big fat bass. They are more expensive than owner and gamakatsu so if you are on a budget just get a pack of trokar 4/0 or 5/0 flippin hook and try that to start for creature...

    My Battleship!!!!

Yeah 2 mph is about right. The razor really helps on driving the M2 though. The L2 was like slicing butter. I think if I got a 28 to run when I'm alone I may be able to get another 1 or 2 mph. My mechanic just built me a L1 with brand new gear set (1.86), so in real excited about trying the...

    Best Boat in Choppy Waters

Phoenix 721. The rough water ride is the reason I chose it over a ranger. Then come to find out it hauls butt too and handles like a race car. I fished a regional on Ross Barnett in October in 25 mph north winds and it handled it great. Needless to say I ate several rangers, bass cats, and...

Black Friday Deals. So what did you get?

I didn't get anything, I fished a tournament instead and won just enough money to cover my gas and entry fee. My dad has had two vendetta spinning reels break so be careful with them.

    Trokar hooks

The trokar hooks are really good. The flipping hook is awesome, they got some big ones. Owner and gamakatsu are fine hooks but if I was rich I would have nothing but Trokar.

    My Battleship!!!!

Mark Croxton's Razor 3 has been the best prop I have ran on the M2. I am running a 27 and it carries a load and has an awesome holeshot (even loaded). Top end is better than anything else I have ran. I have hit 77.8 mph with it, but could probably use a 28 pitch when running by myself and get a...

Did the 250HO get a new High Performance Lower-Unit?

    New Ranger or Skeeter

I couldnt overpay for a ranger like you will do, and I just despise skeeters. If I was buying another new boat I would look at phoenix (which I did) and a basscat. End of story, better ride, more speed, more standard options, and more for your money period. Call me biased but its the truth.

Who has the guts for this??

seen that a while back and I can promise everyone that you will not catch me even thinking about doing that.

    Help me choose a prop!

I may be mistaken but a Norris Craft is a lightweight hull that should run pretty fast if setup right. I know that force is not the most powerful but I would think you could get it setup right and get that motor cleaned up some and haul butt in it.
