Hi everyone,
I'm from Midland, TX and have recently purchased our first new boat (always had pre-owned). It's an 09 Tracker Pro16 aluminum bass boat w/ a Mercury 30HP EFI and is just the right size for my fishing partner and wife of 20 years and me.
I was just curious if there are any other aluminum bass or fishing boat owners on this board. I had joined another board recently and was ridiculed because I didn't own a "real" (fiberglass) bass boat. From what I've read in the postings here so far, everyone here shares a joy of the outdoors, fishing, and are not like that at all. There seems to be a comraderie whether you own a 10 foot jon or a high dollar Ranger, and that is very cool.
We chose this boat to take us into our retirement years and to spend time doing what we both love. It tows like a charm and really gets across the water.
I look forward to sharing experiences with everyone.
