I bought a ardent reel 2yrs ago it is the c400 series the burgandy colored reel, it worked good for a while then it started grinding and wouldnt hardly reel, I took it apart and greased and oiled it, it worked fine for a while then started again with the grinding and other problems. I called Ardent and talked with a customer service rep. she told me to send the reel in and the will send me a new one to replace it, said they have had some problems with that specific reel, no questions asked as polite as could be and their reels are made in america! That is customer service that you dont hardly find anywhere any more enough for me to buy all ardent reels from now on.
