I have a 225 optimax on a Stratos 201 Pro and I loose push about 3/4 of a way before full plane on take off. I can back off just a little when spin out occurs then apply full throttle and get on plane just fine. Planing up is only time I have this problem. Just switched the opti to this hull punched a hole in last hull and insurance would'nt pay. So I am new to this boat. It is a 99 hull (the only 20'6'' ) I could fine within a very large area that would handle my 225. Got a three blade 25 pitch Mercury Fury on opti. Anyone have any ideas? I am thinking of dropping the motor down an inch. Motor set on a 12" jack plate. Any advice will be appreciated.
