Fun day on the water with my 2 boys. Surface temps 62-65 deg. We caught fish on spinnerbaits, senko's and jerkbaits. Biggest was about 3-12, spawned out female with typical tail and fin wear related to spawning tasks. I was surprised to see that since I took her from a shallow pocket w/62 deg water and haven't been seeing any beds yet. There was no mistaking she was done though.

Most fish were 13"-15", a few 16" and a couple very aggressive micro-bass (8") too. The tenacity of those little buggers is always funny!

While I like fishing spinnerbaits, I really enjoy the jerk bait bite. That's just fun! I kept hoping I'd run into some bigger fish but 15"-16" was all I could get on the jerk baits today. Fish were more spread out than last weekend but we still caught a bunch (est maybe about 30 +/-)

Found a shallow rock pile with my prop and dinged it up. Took a small chunk out of my skeg too. Crap!
