Went to Holeyland in the Everhglades yesterday. Got there at 6:30 A.M and fished until 1:30 P.M. Was a partly cloudy day and about 89 degrees or so. The fishing was a little slow and ended up with 16 fish which were mostly dinks. Biggest one was 3.3 pounds and the rest were under a pound. The fishing has been a little different here. They don't seem to be stacked up in the pads and weeds and I saw lots of schools of small bass just sort of cruising all over the canal. Lots of blowups on baitfish happeningg sporadically throughout the day. There doesn't seem to be much of a clear pattern out there now.

The water levels have dropped even more from last week. The flat section near the ramp is now a beach and if we don't get rain in the next two weeks then I think the ramp will be blocked by the large boulder ledge at the end of it. There is only about a foot of water over that ledge right now so loading the boat is very dicey.
