Things are beginning to pick up a bit.
Fished here 2/19/2011 and started at 7:30 and fished till 1:30. Weather was great. Air temperature was around 78 degrees, slight wind from the North. There was some heavy fog this morning but it claered by 8:30. Got around 15-20 bass. The biggest was just under 3 pounds on a Live Target Bluegill Crankbait. This is the first time I've caught a fish on a crankbait in the Everglades in many years. Got a few more on a skinny dipper and another arounf 2 pounds on a Senko. The water was pretty clear (could see around 4-5 feet down) and not much in the way of flow or current.
