Fished the East canal of Sawgrass from 6:30 until 2:00 today. The ramps are fine but the water is low. Its an obstacle course out there with all the gators.
Fishing was good all day. Picked alot up in the morning on a zara spook and horny toad then switched to a yum salleemander and 7 inch senko in the afternoon. I picked the wife and kids up at the levee at the end of the east canal so the kids could fish for about 40 minutes, They each picked up three bass and had a ball. Great setup there since its right near my house. My wife drove over parked the car jumped in the boat we fished then dropped her back off. Its less than 5 minutes from the house.
Don't know how many fish I caught. I stopped counting at 20 in the morning. Avergae fish was around a pound to 1.5 pounds with the beggest coming in at around 2 pounds. Steady bite all day. Best part was watching the kids hookup with those bass.
