There are several areas of the Everglades that have some airboat trails cut into them that lead back to the flats. I'm sure they are loaded with fish but the one time I went in there years ago it was about a foot deep.
Now I know some guys in bass boats head back in there but I'm not sure how good it can be dragging your prop through mud or risking the isolated stump while on plane. Here is a video of someone going through in Loxahatchee. Does this look alright or am I being to cautious not heading back there? Just seems liike in a heavy fiberglass boat that you would get stuck or tear something up.
