1977 85hp johnson motor, I'm changing the lower unit out And have a couple of questions.
1. The lower unit that I'm installing had an o-ring (that I Broke taking the water pump off) right under the spines on the drive shaft. The unit that came off the motor did not have an o-ring. So do I need the o-ring or not? Because it's not showing one on the parts list.
2. Is there any tips or tricks that can help me get the shift linkage adjusted out right?
