I got my keelguard on last weekend so I could fish Sawgrass Recreation Center which is where I use to fish when I was 19-21. I fished there 3-4 times a week back then and there was a north canal and east canal. I drive about 30 minutes from my house to the ramp. Today I went back there after about 20 years. The fishing was pretty bad today so I decided to explore a little. I ran all the way down the east canal to the end. I went around the corner and I was at the expressway and I saw a building that looked familiar across the highway. I pulled out my phone to see where I was and it turns out the building was the new church they were building right around the corner from my house. So I drove all the way out to the ramp and ended up driving my boat darn near back to my neighborhhod. 20 years ago it use to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere..LOL.
