Headed out yo Loxahatchee this morning with a friend. We fished the southern area off of Lox Road which is about 20 minutes from my house. There are canals running west and north but we headed into the flat section in the middle which is about 3-4 feet deep and heavily weeded. We landed around 40 bass between the two of us on Senkos, swim jigs, flukes and centipedes and we saw an Alligtor jump from the bushes and swallow up one of those birds that hang out in the water. Nice day fishing and was home early enough to get the boat washed and have a few beers. Life is good..until I go out toomorow and get skunked
