When I put the boat on the trailer after making a few set up runs I noticed the plastic cover that covers the mid-section mounts(right near the anti-cavitation plate) was broken. About 1/2 of the cover on the port side is missing. Funny thing is - it's the back 1/2 that's gone. There wasn't anything in the water(that I could see) that I hit. The starboard cover kept poping out on the rear as well but did not break - yet. Both covers are somewhat loose but the single screw attaching them is tight. Anybody got any clues as to what's going on? Could it be that on the initial setup runs the engine was way too low and that those covers were not clearing the water and just ripped off from water pressure?
