I was dropping off my G3 trade-in at the dealer's today and saw a wrapped Stratos in the lot. Sure enough, my new rig arrived this morning. The problem is that it's wrapped tight in 'shrink wrap' and I can't see it. I was like a cat walking around an aquarium full of fish.
The boat will be ready next Tue. I will be there first thing to help, if needed, to install my HB 998SI. I want to assure the unit is installed the way I want it. Stratos pre cut the dash opening which will help. I have the Transducer Shield and Saver hardware to be mounted and a second transducer for through hull reads at speed.
It was very sad to leave the old boat behind. Had some very nice days in that boat. It was like an old friend.
