Looking at DD's new VLO with a Talon (I think) sticking up, got me to thinking of that being a good accessory.
The last 3 outings, the wind made me a little nuts. If I have to be away from the tm to tie baits, take a leak. or any other chores, I drift way out of position. Even getting rods out, or storing them, I have to keep watching for the shoreline sneaking up.
I looked at Talon and Power Pole. At this point I think the Power Pole Blade will get the nod. Picturing the 68" unit on my boat (10') seemed a bit high, so I will probably go with the 55", 8ft model. Hope I won't be sorry.
