At this special time of the year, please remember my Dad and my best friend/fishing buddy (Christy Elliott).
Dad is in the twilight of his life, 92 yrs. old and is now in hospice care. We are still going too take dad to the family Thanksgiving Dinner so we and he can enjoy it together just one more time.
God willing, may his last days here be comfortable and his passing be as easy as possible and also pray for my mother who is 89 yrs. old and is coping with the reality as best she can.
I am very thankful that the Lord has blessed me with being one of two children of this special couple. Who love the Lord and his creations as much as anybody and passed that love on to their children.
Although Dad has not passed to his reward, I already miss him more than I can express. Just seeing the gradual decline is so hard for me.
Hold close to the ones you love and tell them you love them how much you love them every day.
