The Environmental Protection Agency announced radiation from Japan's damaged nuclear reactors has been discovered in U.S. milk (how much?). The agency insists the amount of radiation is no greater than that we receive every day. The FDA is still blocking imports of some Japanese food.

Now they are saying the amounts are not harmful to human health but my understanding is that the body may absorb and keep some types of readioactive elements that it confuses for other elements (like iodide). So although one glass may not kill you one still wonders if you consume it over a few years if it will accumulate in you body to reach dangerous levels. I don't know but you would thiink that given the story they published they would provide some scientific facts so people could react rationally to the story.
