Ok this is what I got. I have a 1991 cajun 2050 with a 1991 GT225VRO with a CMC 8" jack plate (manual adjust). My lower unit on my Johnson has a low water pickup in the nose cone and the trim tab on the skeg for steering. Where is a good base line setup when mounting my motor. From my understanding make the hull level going of the hull behind the livewell intakes and hull drain to the transom. Then level the engine and measure from center of prop. Is this correct, and if so how mush below the hull should I be with the low water pickup? from what I gather 3.5 is a good rule of thumb without the low water pickup. so what should be good with?:wallbash:
