Well, I finally got a chance to hit the lake with my brother yesterday. We headed down to Bay Springs, which is my favorite lake to fish since they've dropped the bottom out of the local reservoirs. There were 10 fish caught altogether, and none of them by me. I threw everything I had in the boat at them, and still could not come up with a fish. I did manage to get a few bites on a wacky worm, but to no avail. Although I enjoyed my day out, it was one of my worst outings in a long time. Just could not figure out what they would hit. Every fish he caught was on a different lure. He ended up with 8 bass, (small), one crappie, and a channel cat. I ended up with a goose egg. I had to credit the problem to the cold front coming through, and the moon phase. hehehehe.. It was the only way to keep my dignity. Daylight to Dark, and nothing. What a day!!!!! Killing part about it was that I was the one finding the fish that he caught. hahahaha... I feel so dejected!!
