Fished Lake Fork, Tx. last month. Water was down about 6'. Found lots of fish holding tight to hardwoods in 20' to 30' of water. Wind was blowing pretty good & bottom of boat was bumping on stumps for 3 days of fishing. Ended up breaking the transom mounts for both of my Humminbird transducers. I've decided to install thru hull transducers for both of these units in my '97 SS 90. Any words of wisdom from anyone here who has had experience along these lines would be appreciated. Geezer.
