some of you asked about water pressure gauges not reading zero at rest. thats a commoan problem up here in the north when ya forget to remove the hoses from the speedo and pressure gauge.

some of them come apart easily some ya need to hot knife them open. the bulb inside swells from ice forming over the winter and keeps the needle off the zero mark. If the bulb is cracked it can be soldered closed. ya need to squeeze the semicircle bulb gently back into shape so the needle sits on zero then either glue or snap the guage back together.
it's really easy to do and before ya spend 40 - 50 bucks on a new gauge try it. just remember GENTLY squeeze the bulb once its past the zero mark it don't come back its toast.
