Wow, 9 days later, I finally got internet restored back in my neighborhood! Hurricane Irma left her toll, destroying half of the Florida Keys. Did some serious damage down here in South Florida and up the west coast too. I lost every fence in my back yard, lost my huge avocado tree, and 2 mango trees. She also crested a roof leak in one of my bedrooms! All in all, we came out lucky. Could have been 8 feet under water but being on the east coast, the storm came up the west coast, sparing us the huge storm surge on our side. Wish I could say the same for the Florida Keys. Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Tavernier, Cudjoe Key and South are all beat to hell. Robbie's marina where tourists fed giant tarpon.... Gone! Tiki Bar.... Gone! Our paradise a short ride south is absolutely devastated. It will take years to recover. So sad seeing pics and videos.
