    What's happening

Hey hey hey.... Just checking in to see what's going on. Hoping on getting the boat wet this weekend but weather may not cooperate. It's so dang hot down here! Went bass fishing last weekend and almost had a heat stroke by 11am. Everglades are scorching hot and Lake Okeechobee water levels are...

    Checking in

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been outta the loop since switching roles at work. I used to work 9-6 and had so much extra time to hang out in here and give GF a hard time but now that I'm a genius at Apple, my work schedule sucks, mostly working 12-9 shifts (like today). Just wanted to drop...

    Whewwwww, I just missed fire!

Yeah, people died. Always sucks to see that. These types of accidents just never seem to end! I just lost my friend from work 2 weeks ago in a traffic accident.

    I Think I Have a Problem

Speaking of gear... I'm out of swimbaits and a bunch of other lures I need for this weekend's tournament. Start vacation on Thursday so Bass Pro is definitely on the agenda!

    Where is the warmer weather?

Warm water is definitely underway down here in South Florida! No more cold fronts down here until probably November. Pool weather, warm water, and lots of beer in the forecast.

KOTG Round 3 recap March 10th

With round 3 in the books, we made up 20 spots and are now sitting in 30th spot out of over 200 anglers heading into my back yard (Everglades) for rounds 4 and 5. My day started great, traveling to the north side of Lake Okeechobee and landing a 5 pounder 5 minutes into the day on my new Pro...

    Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper Swimbait

Had to review this swimbait as it is over shadowed by one of my favorite swimbaits, the Gambler Big EZ. Not gonna lie, I don't use it as often as Bass Pro doesn't sell the brand but man.... This lure sure catches some big bass with it's incredible action! Recently used it when I ran out of Big...

Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier 2 Baitcast Reel

Biggest bass I've caught in the Everglades was caught on a Pro Qualifier so i'm not too worried about them not being strong enough. They last forever too. I've got several of these that are over 6-7 years old and have never even lubed them once. Still working fine.
