shallow water anchor

Anyone tried one of the Stickit manual shallow water anchor? Doesn’t look like it would hold very good and would be a hassel but might be ok when sight fishing for bedding bass. $144 is cheaper than $1500 too..... http://www.stickitanchorpins.com
