135........Late 70's model

I may have found what I am looking for......A fella is wanting to repower his ponyoon and has a late 70's model evinrude 135hp.........I need the scoop on these motors.......Good Bad or indifferent???? Is this the motor with the V6 gearcase?????? ALso is it the dang electric lower unit???? I need to know all I can before I make the swap. The guy is willing to take my 94 model 90hp EVEN UP. The 135 still runs good.....Ok folks lemme know what ya know.
