1960-1970 Ambassadeur 6000 C (given to me by my Grandfather)

Ok, so new to this forum and did some resaerch but never could quite find what im looking for. My grandpa and i just cleaned out his basement and he had a bunch of old bamboo rods and some cool reels. the one that caught my eye was a ABU ambassadeur 6000 C reel. i cannot find any information on this reel by searching google and other places so i came here. All i know is that my great grandpa bought this on a fishing trip in Canada around 1960 to 1970. He retired in 1965 and my grandpa could not remember if his dad went on this trip before of after he retired but knew it was somewhere close to his retirement. the reel is in a leather case and has extra screws and stuff in one little container(about a two ounce container) and lube in the other container. i would post pictures but im at my grandpas on their labtop and dont have a camera. the only number that might be a vin number is 080800 and is located on the bottom of the rod attachment.

My grandpa said that my great grandfather bought a rod with this reel but he does not know the type. id anyone would know what type of rod would come with this reel or may buy with this reel that would be an amazing amount of help. my grandfather just gave me this reel and the rod if i can find it!
