1999 200hp fitch anyone now the flow rate gph?

i just bought a fuel water seperator. i was hoping i bought the right one. it has a 30 gph flow rate. my buddy had the 60 gph but i was told a 200 hp ob uses 20 gpm and shouldnt go much higher in flow rate. is this info correct?

i bought a racor 120rrac01 30 gph flow rate 10 micron filtation. putting it on a 1999 200hp evenrude fitch was this the right choice?
