I just bought a 2007 Champion 200 Elite, 225 Rude, 25 pitch Raker. Boat starts walking at 66-67, chine walk gets real bad real quick if I don't let off of it. Got it to 70.4 gps, 5550-5600 rpm, but scared the bejesus out of me! Running 1/4 tank of gas, very little gear, two people(he won't ride with me anymore though:eek:, LOL). The engine came set up 5.5 inches below pad, tried 4.5 below and helped somewhat. Trying to learn to "drive", it....having "alittle" success. Should I play with the setup or continue to learn to drive it?
Any inputs or opinions are greatly appreciated!
